How to Re- Size Images for Projection

Club projected images for competitions are required at the default size of the projector. In the case of my club the size is 1400 pixels x 1050 pixels. This tutorial describes one method of doing this in Photoshop CS5 (other version should also be able to be used). In addition the tutorial also shows how to add a frame to the image. At the end of the tutorial is a link for an Action which can automate the process.

How to Rotate and Repair Using Content Aware

It is often the case where an image needs rotating to level a horizon. The problem is that when the image is rotated the corners of the image will be missing. The obvious route would be to use the crop tool set to the front image size and crop the image. The problem with this is the image will now be smaller and there is a good chance important compositions and parts would be lost.

The Algarve - September 2011

Igreja Nossa Senhora da Assuncao churh - Querença

In September t 2011 we went on a holiday to the Algarve.based in Quarteira just opposite the bus station. So we made good use of that with bus trips to Faro, Quarteira, Vilamoura, Loulé, Albufeira and Querença.

It was quite this time of the year and the weather held up with most days being sunny.

A Studio In August 2011 - Magda

Back in August 2011 myself and John Brown had a magic studio day. Once again Magda graced us. We tried out three sets.

The first was a window setting and the lighting was only the daylight coming through the window. For the second set we found an old bench which was used as a prop.
